Cookies and Similar Technologies
1. Your choice
On your first visit, Travel Desk offers Reject optional and Allow optional measurement with the same one-step access. The optional choice is not pre-selected. A persistent Cookie settings control lets you reopen the panel and change or withdraw your choice at any time.
Travel Desk uses a conservative consent-first implementation for non-essential storage/access technologies even where a statutory exception might potentially be available. Optional technologies are not activated before the relevant choice is recorded, and refusing must be as easy as accepting.

3. Optional measurement and attribution
When you allow optional measurement, Travel Desk may use first-party storage such as tds_influencer_ref, td_growth_attr_v24, a short-lived anonymous/session attribution token, and (for eligible WhatsApp lead attribution) td_wa_attr. These help Travel Desk understand which campaign, partner or agent link led to a signup or enquiry.
When optional measurement is not allowed, these optional identifiers must not be created or used for new tracking. Withdrawing permission clears accessible optional storage and causes server-side attribution code to ignore any stale attribution identifier.
4. Server-side essential logs
Cookie consent does not prevent Travel Desk from processing information that is genuinely necessary for authentication, security, abuse prevention, requested support, transaction records or a form you deliberately submit. Those activities are described in the Privacy Policy and are not treated as optional marketing measurement.
5. Storage/access technology audit
Travel Desk treats cookies, local storage, tracking pixels, link decoration and similar device storage/access mechanisms as part of the PECR control scope. The owner governance record documents purpose, necessity/exception analysis, duration, third-party involvement and the next review action. New non-essential technologies must not silently bypass the consent authority.
6. Third parties
When you deliberately move to a third-party service such as Stripe or a connected social platform, that provider may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Travel Desk's preference control governs Travel Desk's optional first-party measurement; it cannot directly control storage placed by another website after you leave Travel Desk.
7. Browser controls
You can also use browser controls to delete or block storage. Blocking essential session storage may stop sign-in or other requested functions from working correctly.
